Characteristics and features of detectors DIP-34A
Modern enterprises and public institutions are subject to high fire safety requirements. All such objects should be equipped with a fire protection system. One of the most significant roles in such structures belongs to the detectors - devices that record the change in the state of the environment and transmit a danger signal to the control panel. Among these devices is the installation of DIP-34A optical-electronic analysis and the analogue-to-analog principle of alarm transmission.
What is the detector for?
The detector DIP-34A is part of the fire protection systems and is the initial link in a complex chain of reception and transmission of the signal. Its main purpose is to analyze the state of the environment for the presence of smoke, large amounts of dust on the serviced facility, fires, accompanied by changes in the composition of the air.
The operation of the device is based on optical-electronic analysis. After detecting a hazard, the device issues one of several notices: “Attention”, “Fire”, “Fault”, “Dustiness” or “Test”, if the detector DIP-34A at this moment passes a pre-launch or periodic maintenance check.
Principle of operation
Structurally, the optical-electronic detector is a gas chamber in which there are three main elements:
- light emitter;
- light receiver;
- refraction grating.
Refractive gratings perform a protective function - they prevent the penetration of light and filter dust particles.All internal equipment of the device is reliably protected from sunlight, but has special openings for free air penetration. Smoke, getting inside the device, reflects the infrared signal emitted by the emitter.
An electronic microcircuit inside the DIP-34A device registers changes in the light signal received by the receiver (ultra-high sensitivity photodiode), analyzes the data and makes a decision about issuing the appropriate notification.
Features of the detector
The main feature of the optical-electronic notification device is high sensitivity. The device easily determines the presence in the air of a closed object as dark smoke that appears when burning polymeric and composite materials, as well as light that occurs when wood, paper, textiles are smoldering.
Another important feature that the DIP-34A smoke detector possesses is the ability to fix the concentration of smoke in the first stage of smoldering combustible material. This allows time to detect the source of ignition and take appropriate fire prevention measures.
The device is very demanding to cleanliness - the accumulation of dust on the refraction curtains and inside the gas chamber reduces its sensitivity and can lead to false alarms of the system or to its failure. It is very important to conduct technical servicing activities in time.
Characteristics of the detector
During the creation of fire protection systems, special attention should be paid to the equipment being selected, since the area of coverage of the device, the response time and, as a result, timely detection of fire depend on this.Characteristics of the detector DIP-34A are represented by the following indicators:
- sensitivity corresponding to atmospheric pollution with an optical density of 0.05-0.2 dB / m;
- response time - less than 10 seconds;
- nominal current consumption - less than 0.5 mA;
- operating temperature range - from -30 to +55 ° C;
- dimensions: diameter - 100 mm, height - 4.6 cm;
- average durability - at least 10 years.
The detector DIP-34A is used in conjunction with the monitoring device S2000-KDL, the software of which is represented by the UProg.exe application.
